The spring online lecture series of the Forum in Literary Studies at the Institute of Czech Literature of the CAS will offer insight into current research topics of cultural dissent before 1989 in Central and Eastern Europe, especially issues of gender, alternative culture, mediality, transnationality and leftist thinking.

The lecture series is organized in the context of the European COST Action 16213 New Exploratory Phase in Research on East European Cultures of Dissent and in the context of the national project INTER-COST LTC18040 Media of Cultural Opposition in Czechoslovakia, supported from the INTER-EXCELLENCE programme of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
