Kitija Valeina is doctoral student at the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art. Title of her dissertation is “Transformation of classroom culture in Latvia (1964-2004)”. She graduated from the Faculty of History and Philosophy, History Dept. and since 2015 is doctoral student at University of Latvia, Education Dept. She is author of several articles about classroom culture. She is a member of Baltic Association of Historians of Pedagogy. Her current workplace is Ozolnieki Secondary school, where she is a history teacher and coordinator of UNESCO Associated schools project. Her native language is Latvian; she is fluent in Russian and English.
